Lots of Stuff Happening

So I feel like I should give shout outs or something, but I'll just list the awesome/icky stuff happening.

1. Shout out to the "Anonymous Donor"- Who ever you are, thank you for the premium subscription.  It totally made my day (well month really, but I def needed a pick me up today, so seeing that was awesome)

2. I was approved to present at a virtual conference of Sigma Xi for my research (www.sigmaxi.org/meetings/src/s…).  I'm very excited because this is the first competition my research has been in.  I work with the "physiological effects of NiCl*6H2O on aquatic microbial biofilm", basically I see if gunk on leaves die if there's a bunch of nickel in the environment.  

3. I had to miss class today, and will miss class tomorrow.  Good thing right? Not really, these are the first few days of the semester and I have come down with a case of vertigo and a few other symptoms that I can hardly walk.  I feel a bit better right now, but I'm not sure how long it will last.
